Screen printing vs DTF vs embroidery: which fits your order?

For Naperville, DuPage County, and the western suburbs. The method follows the garment, the quantity, and whether the art is solid ink or full color. Printed locally in Addison, IL. Made in DuPage County. A price shows only when a published table on this site already has it.

Questions about the three methods

Screen print, DTF, or embroidery — which one is this for?

Screen printing fits t-shirts and hoodies from 24 pieces when the art is 1 to 6 solid ink colors. Embroidery fits polos, hats, and jackets from 12 pieces. DTF is the film-transfer method for full-color art on a tee, hoodie, or jacket. Hats and polos stay embroidery. The quote confirms the method before anything is made.

What are the minimums?

Screen printing starts at 24 pieces. Embroidery starts at 12. Sizes can mix in that count. This site does not state a DTF minimum.

Why is there no price for some answers?

A per-piece range appears only when it is taken from the published tables on the screen printing or embroidery pages: 1-colour screen print on a tee, or an embroidered logo on a polo, hat, or jacket, one location. Extra colors, a second location, and DTF are not in those tables. Hoodie rows on the screen-printing table are below the $42.99 retail list for the comparable hoodie, so this page does not show a hoodie price. The proof is the exact number.

How long does an order take?

About 14 business days after you approve the proof for standard delivery. A sooner date is a rush quoted by phone at (630) 324-4372, not a date this page can promise.
